Iain was, by his own admission, a petrolhead.

He adored driving – especially around Scotland – and often stopped to take photographs of the spectacular scenery. It was a running joke that somehow, a particularly nice car always managed to sneak into the frame. It would take an especially churlish nature to suggest the rugged, wild beauty of Scotland was being relegated to just a breathtaking backdrop for a pretty set of wheels...
